Privacy notice

PorchReply is an independent service operated from India. For a privacy question, access request or deletion request, use our contact form. This notice covers this early-access website and demos; installed client widgets also require the contractor's own notice.

What we collect and why

We collect inquiry names, email addresses, optional website addresses and messages to respond to your request. Website previews read a public page you submit. AI chat messages are processed to answer your questions. We use pseudonymous IP hashes, session identifiers and usage records to limit abuse and spending. Do not include sensitive information in chat.

Callback forms and demos

Demo callback details are validated transiently but not saved or emailed. On an installed client widget, a visitor can consent to send their name, phone or email, ZIP, job description and urgency to that contractor. This does not authorize unrelated marketing or automated text campaigns.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare hosts the service and provides bot verification. OpenAI processes the bounded chat context. Resend is the planned provider for live lead notifications; actual sender setup is required before a client launch. Information may be processed in India, the United States and other countries where providers operate. We do not sell lead data or use it for advertising profiles.

Retention

Inquiry and installed-client lead records are retained for up to 30 days in the application. Chat history is cleared after two days. Minimal usage records and IP hashes may remain up to 40 days. Preview content expires from public use after one day; related technical records may remain until retention cleanup permits deletion. Provider backups, abuse-monitoring systems and a contractor's received emails have their own retention periods.

Your choices

You can avoid chat and contact the business directly. For access, correction or deletion, identify your request without sharing unnecessary sensitive details. We may need to verify that it is yours. Some limited records may be retained for security or legal obligations. Applicable rights depend on your location and the business processing the data.

Analytics and security

We use, or may enable, Cloudflare's privacy-focused Web Analytics for aggregate site activity. We do not run advertising trackers. Bot verification and infrastructure may process technical browser information. We restrict access, keep credentials off the browser, and limit collected data, but no online service is completely secure.

Children and changes

This business service is not directed to children. We update this notice when the service or providers change. Material changes should be reviewed before a live client installation.
